Our customization tool that allows users to create, modify, and design individual-specific activities.

What makes FLY special?

We make sure that AT solutions are not “one size fits all .” Our goal is for individualized, customized learning that is simple, effective, and inclusive. We also have assistive technology professionals that will have the answers to the most commonly stated problems below.

The Problem

The Solution

“I don’t have time to learn and implement assistive technology (AT).”

FLY’s RESNA-certified AT professional provides the assessment, implementation (configuration & acquisition), training, and follow up. We observe, attend IEP meetings, consult and collaborate.

“We never know when the AT specialists are coming or when we will see them again.”

Our certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) will complete on-site evaluations within two weeks of consent to services and be in close communication with parents/caregivers and other professionals.

“My district does not have the resources to provide costly AT services.”

FLY is a Nebraska-approved service provider. We charge the state-approved rate. This means school districts can get reimbursed for our AT services by the Nebraska Dept of Education.

*FLY will become approved in other states if requested.

“I don’t know have a program that meets the complex needs of my students.”

During our AT consultation, we can assist in finding the best AT solutions for your student. If we can’t find something commercially available, we custom-make the activities using the FLY Creative Workspace.

“We do not have access to an expensive device.”

The FLY Creative Workspace activities are compatible with touchscreen devices, computers, or smart boards. It fits in seamlessly with schools that have one on one device programs. FLY’s AT professionals can provide resources to assist in finding a device that works for each child.
